Job Title: Export Cargo Specialist
This position will be responsible for general customer service in International Ocean Exports and maintain daily contact with key client contacts and vendors.
v Will be responsible for maintaining Key Accounts and visiting them when needed
v Respond to rate quotations, bookings and other inquires on a timely manner.
v Coordinate and communicate consistently with the Key Accounts, Ocean Carriers, Vendors and other service providers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
v Issue, track and complete bookings/documents from start to finish
v Prepare and process Insurance Certificates, Certificate of Origin, Shipper’s Export/Import declarations, Customs Invoices and all other related export documents
v Work with our Overseas Agents, ensuring they are informed of any upcoming shipments
v Provide excellent and timely customer service by informing clients of the status of their bookings/documents and respond promptly and professionally to customer needs and requirements
v Improve current procedures and work flow by analyzing and implementing changes in support of organizational goals, work efficiency and customer satisfaction.
v Maintain professional communication with all departments to provide feasible and sustainable service to clients.
v 2 to 5 years of experience and knowledge of International Ocean Exports.
v Strong customer service and communication skills.
v Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
v Computer skills; Microsoft office, email, internet explorer and ability to learn proprietary business software applications
v Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work load in order to meet numerous deadlines.
v Attention to details
v Positive attitude, friendly, outgoing personality.
v Willingness to learn and ask questions.
v Familiarization with shipping hazardous material preferred, but not required.
