Pacific Northwest LNG is looking at options for reducing the cost of its $11.4B LNG export terminal on Lelu Island in Prince Rupert. The current design plans for the construction of a 1.6-kilometre-long suspension bridge to carry a pipeline beginning on Lelu Island and extending over Flora Bank. Ridley Island is believed to be an option being reconsidered for the terminal site as Pacific NorthWest LNG carries out a total project review prior to making an anticipated announcement on its investment decision in mid-2017.
