This week, CMA CGM launched the world’s largest LNG-powered containership, Jacques Saade. The vessel is the first in a new fleet of nine French-flagged LNG-powered containerships. The ship was launched at the Shanghai Jiangnan-Changxing Shipyard. The vessel features a state-of-the-art bridge design, a smart system to manage ventilation for the reefer containers carried in the hold, and a hydrodynamically optimized hull. View video here.
